HNU and Danzhou officials discuss areas of cooperation.

On March 3, a delegation from Hainan University paid a visit to the Danzhou municipal government, in which the two parties discussed various areas where there could be further cooperation between the school and the local government.

Zou Guang, the mayor of Danzhou, and Fu Xuanguo, Party chief of HNU, attended the meeting.

The two sides have achieved fruitful results in mutually beneficial cooperation in teaching and research, rural revitalization, and other areas in recent years, Zou said, adding that Danzhou is willing to work with HNU to set up a world-class discipline and contribute to the high-quality development of Danzhou and Yangpu.

Fu said that HNU will continue to make full use of its advantages in disciplines and talents, closely combine the "double first-class" construction with the economic and social development of Danzhou, as well as contribute wisdom to the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
